Welcome to Leapin' Lizards Summer Camps!!
Leapin Lizards is proud to continue our Summer Day Camp Program for 2010. We offer a wide variety of themed activities and interactive programs to interest any child. All of our day camps include a themed craft, snack, and interactive activities supervised by our trained staff!
CAMP THEMES
Week 1: June 1st-4th: Plains, Boats, Trains- Come learn about different kinds of locomotors! We will have a uniformed pilot teach the children everything they want to know about flying! We encourage children to bring a small toy that represents their favorite form of transportation!
Week 2: June 7th-11th: To the Moon and Back- This is space week. Get ready to expand their minds as they learn about the entire solar system! We will talk about the sun, moon, stars, planets and more!
Week 3: June 14th-18th: Creatures of the Deep Dark Ocean- Come explore what lives below the waves. We will discover many marine animals that live in the oceans and how those animals interact with each other. Have your favorite marine animal in mind when you come!
Week 4: June 21st -25th: On the Farm- We are going to talk about all of our favorite farm animals! Bring your favorite farm animal stuffed animal to introduce to all your new friends and use in our partner games and creative playtime!
Week 5: June 23rd- July 2nd: Independence Day- This is a great opportunity for kids to have fun while learning about the importance of our July 4th holiday. We would love to see everyone wearing red, white and blue in support of our country!
Week 6: July 5th- 9th: Pirates and Treasures- Enter into our world of imaginative play! Along with our staff, the mates will be searching for a hidden treasure! There will be tons of fun with lots of imaginative role-playing.
Week 7: July 12th-16th: Story Tellers- A great opportunity for creativity! The children will be able to use their imaginations to create a story, and their creative side to turn it into a book. It could be a storybook or a picture book, but either way, they will be proud to bring home their accomplishment so they can read you a bedtime story.
Week 8: July 19th-23rd:Jungle Fever- Together we will learn about the mysterious animals of the jungle that many of us are often unable to see. It’s a great opportunity to learn about some fun and exotic animals!
Week 9: July 26th- 30th : Anything Goes- This will be variety week. Each day a different theme!
Monday: Wonders of Nature; Tuesday: Jurassic Giant Dinos; Wednesday: Fitness Fun; Thursday: Radiant Rainforest; and Friday: Totally Talented
